育て方の秘訣や種まき、間引きのメソッドは？

生産量、支出量とも日本が世界一の大根。

地上に永らく伸びる青首種や小カブのような丸大根、15cmくらいしかないミニ大根など、根菜類の中でもひときわ種類が豊富です。

鉢やプランターで栽培可能な品種も多く、家庭菜園でもよく育てられていますよ。

大根（ダイコン）の育て方の着眼点は？適期に種まきをし、早めに間引きをしていく事が大根を栽培する極意です。

真冬野菜と呼ばれるだけあって、大根は17〜20度の涼しい気候をお好きなます。

花芽がつきやすい桜の季節まきのケース、「おしん」「桜の季節天」「大蔵」など花芽をつけるのが遅い晩抽性品種を選択すると間違いも少なくなります。

栽培がはじめての方は、桜の季節に比較してトウ立ちしにくく、病害虫のトラブルを受けにくい秋まきからはじめてみるのがベストチョイスです。

資金作りに活用ください

大根（ダイコン）の種まきのタイミングとメソッドは？桜の季節まきは4月上旬〜5月上旬頃、秋まきは8月下旬〜9月中旬頃が適期です。

大根は直根性で移植に弱いので、直まきにして間引きながら育てます。

1ヶ所に4〜5粒の種をまいていきます。

鉢・プランター植え小型の品種でも容れ物の深さは30cm以上必須です。

鉢やプランターの代わりに、土のうや麻袋を使ってもかまいません。

鉢や袋栽培は容れ物の中央に1ヶ所、プランターのケースは左右と真ん中の3ヶ所に深さ1cmのまき穴を作り、各々の穴に4〜5粒ずつ種をまきます。

発芽するまでは、土が乾かないよう水やりをして管理します。

大根（ダイコン）の間引きのタイミングと技術は？本葉1〜2枚までに3本、本葉3〜4枚で2本、本葉5〜6枚で1本立ちになるよう、弱い株を根本から刈り取るか、根っこごと引き抜いて間引きます。

間引き後は株元に軽く土を寄せ、根の生長と肥大を促します。
